Here is a screenshot of my connection. It's not always like this but it is often enough to be a problem. What can I do to fix it?

what is that "readyshare"?
contact your isp and give them that information...

Readyshare is my home router.

Has this been a problem for a long time or did it recently get bad? I ask, because of all the telecommunications disruptions in recent weeks due to the extremely bad weather have left many ISP's in bad shape. Having to route around all the downed telecommunications equipment has placed an added burden to a system which was already stressed.
Of course, the problem will appear worst during U.S. prime time, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm CST, during the work week.

I'm not sure but it seems like the last couple of months has been a problem. It straightened out last night about 8:30 CDT. Pings went to 40 to 45 and packet loss was gone. I've had ping plotter running all morning and have only had 3 bad spots all day. It seems like it always goes bad at the 6th hop when I have problems.

I would expect that hop to be problematic. Looks like a handoff router in a large data facility.
