Title: Field of view setting under video options
Post by: hotcoffe on May 24, 2013, 08:52:08 PM: can any1 explain how exactly FO effects game play and whats the best FO for 1300x900 resolution...

Post by: FLS on May 24, 2013, 09:20:17 PM: FOV is a personal preference. Use the default setting to start and compare that to narrower and wider settings to see which you prefer.

Not so long ago there was a thread about this. IIRC HT said the FOV setting should be set according to the physical dimensions of your screen and viewing distance, not according to the resolution.
