Couldn't help but notice your siggy - Billy 'Sparky' Sparks Memorial is Friday, 14 June, at base chapel at Nellis with wake at the Roost on Friday... nickels to be flung on the grass under the 105. You probably know this but I thought I would pass it on.
One of the original Weasels and a towering legend - a mold broken long ago

"..every pilot should fly a Spitfire at lest once.."
Great find. Knew a gent was a Marine that flew F4u's as a flying sargent. Thin rail of guy, rode Bultaco 500cc factory bike he got somehow, near San Felipie for couple seasons when I was young, and rode dirt south of the border. That thing would pull wheelie w/o downshifting in top gear at 65(all my lil 125 would do) on that dusty road south out of town... 70-71..said he worked for airline I never heard of..but it is quite a memory..
