If you get the popup window and the Adobe download window. Just kill those windows by clicking the upper right hand corner red (X) button. It's a nasty company trying to force their search engine into your browser.

5\30\2013 release
1. - Correct reticle with rocket aid for the Lynn L3 modeled in the P38L.
2. - Correct reticles for the Mk8 used by the AAF in the P47D-11\25
3. - Corrected info on the K14A fixed reticle with rocket aid.
4. - Found another NAVY Mk8 reticle. I believe it's the night fighter reticle.
For anyone who wants to use a rocket aid in the Mossi6. I've tested the (BrTypeIrmp.bmp) included as the substitute for the Type I MkIII in rocket aiming mode. A few minutes offline with the dive bombing computing sight enabled will show you how to use the aiming radii.
In the same vein, any of the rocket aid gunsights I'm posting, spend a few minutes offline with the dive bombing green cross enabled to understand how the aid works. They work per the manuals in my testing. Basically high attack speeds in shallow dives 300mph or faster. The steeper the dive, 45-70 degree, use the marks closer to the center. Steeper dives insure better accuracy with rockets due to their poor trajectory.

I'll take credit for the artwork and research. But, I freely admit AH has some players who are Rembrandt's compared to my limited skills with an art program. Some very smart people 70 years ago made it possible for me to bring their genius to this audience. First time I tested this reticle offline, the dive bombing green cross lined up on the aid at speeds starting at 300 and the recommended AoAs.
If anything we should all thank Hitech for using their numbers to make this environment work as the old manuals describe their instruments and tools should interact with it.

Brilliant work Bustr. Cant wait to give the Jug site a try later on, thanks.

Out-standing!! Thank You. Bustr

I was out of town and missed the update. Thanks Bustr. It would be nice someday if AH used your research with your approval to default your historic gunsights to the proper plane.

Thanks bustr... downloaded and updating now!

I suspect if HTC wants to, they have everything they need to accomplish it.
