How do you propose we fly a turret armed fighter without a dedicated gunner?

The Defiant would be a hanger queen and a waste of resources.

ack-ack

If you can find an instance of it having forward firing guns that saw combat then I'll give it a plus one. Other wise, I'm going to have to side with AKAK.

In AW I used to have gunners that would love to get in my 26 just for the turn fighting.

I bet this thing would be a kick in the pants, I would love to fly this for say... someone like.... 999   :devil

How many squadrons flew the Defiant Ack?

Test,

Edit:

Can you tell us what happened on July 19th 1940?

Turret locked forward?

Problem is were the turrets synchronized so they could fire through the prop?

Why are you asking for it if you do not have a clue as to how you would use it? :headscratch:

Problem with the game at the moment is that the ride for the gunner is too bumpy and has not improved over the years.

Having a dedicated gunner in a heavily manoeuvring plane is pointless unless that is fixed first.

how do you figure that? never experienced "bumpy" as a gunner in the back seat of a maneuvering plane...

I think he's referring to the lag and warpiness  that sometimes happens.

if that's the case then he needs to change internet providers and only team up with people that have fast connections.

That's a solution or trying to find a way to smooth it using code.
