Now I need to learn how to make an AH film. :lol
-
:O
Can you tell me how you did that?
Or if you have some free time and want to be a super, awesome person, who will earn 25 Good Karma points...make one for me with a 38J using the 55th/38FS skin and then tell me how you did it?
PS: You will not accrue bad karma for saying no

Depending on what you want to animate, find a terrain that'll help you do things in a timely manner.
I wanted planes at alt so I selected the training terrain for alt launches. Find the distance and angle
you want to start with. I chose port side/zoomed in (for detail). Take a screenie. Move slightly with
a *tap* of the number keypad in the direction you desire. Continue until you come back to the same
original view. You may tap a different direction, if you like, at that point. If you want to reverse
direction, you can use the screenies you already took - in reverse. If it's not so much a circle or spin
view you want, you may want to consider using the AH film viewer. For instance, if you want a gif
that reflects a kill you made then go to the part of the film right at the beginning of firing off the
killing stream and freeze it there. Find the angle you like best. Capture a screen via whatever method
works best (I just use shift-prtscn) and edit in whatever photo edit program you prefer (I use either
paint or GIMP, currently). At that point a screen capture per second should suffice. This may be time
intensive, depending on your comfort and familiarity withthe programs you use. As stated in the P-38
GIF, that took over a hundred screenies. It can easily take more but be aware of the bit size. Keeping
things under 3 mb should allow for easy uploads and lots of servers have a limit. The animated gif program
I'm currently using is 'SmartGif.' It's really easyto use but you will unfortunately have to load each screenie
one at a time (again, familiarity with thekeystroke command and mental organization will speed up the process).
Hope that helps and .... have fun. :)
