Title: Frame Rate Data
Post by: JimmyD3 on June 02, 2013, 11:13:10 AM
When you do a "Control I" to bring up your frame rate, mine displays some data I don't understand

"Frame rate 59
VM Internal DM Snap
Vidmem 3698.0 Used 7.3m CNT=0"

The only thing I understand for sure is the "Frame Rate". :o

Could someone more knowledgeable explain the rest of the information?

VM Internal = Video Memory Internal (i.e. onboard)
DM Snap = Display Mode: Snap
Vidmem 3698.0 = how much total video memory is available to DirectX.
Used 7.3m shows how much video memory is actually used, but only works in Windows XP.  The number is bogus for all other versions of Windows operating systems.
CNT is the number of items left to load to the video card.

Ahhhhh, so that would explain why the CNT spikes after coming back into the game from an Alt-Tab.
