If HTC is updating the ENY values at this time, then I would like to put my wish out there.
I think that the TA-152 should be moved to 15 ENY. I really am not interested in any of the perk planes, so pushing for higher eny value of the aircraft is not based on a perk farming desire, I simply feel that due to the extreme population swings that the MA see's having a 10 -13 ENY imposed on a country is pretty frequent and the 152 in my mind is not going to provide any unfair advantage given its relatively low number of flyer's if a country is behind on players.
For example, last night ENY on knights became 18 and I moved to rooks who at the time had the fewest number of players ( moved to be able to fly the 152)
after about 2 sorties on rooks in the aircraft ENY for rooks was now 10.
I don't feel like the TA152 will be all over the sky if ENY is 10 for a country and the plane is set at 15 ENY. Given that the aircraft has quirks, a semi steep learning curve and few flyer's compared to other aircraft, I cant see a 5 point raise in ENY hurting the game in any form.

+1 but I doubt it will happen because of it's beast mode at higher alts

You've gotta remember it's key traits though,
1.) Retains E extremely well (as 190's do)
2.) Big guns, lots of ammo
3.) Very fast
4.) Great at altitude
5.) Top notch at diving (not much compression until you're well into the 500 mph+ range
6.) Actually it is the most maneuverable of the 190 series of aircraft (assuming you can keep it under control and out of the flat spin, which isn't too hard if you're low on fuel and/or know the plane well)
I would take a 152 over a pony any day - in almost any situation, and the pony has a lower ENY than the 152. I personally think the 152 has a fair ENY at 10.

i disagree with a few of your points but i wont argue them since i appreciate all responses both plus and minus.

You forgot fuel load......DT and 50% fuel gets you more fight time over an enemy field then a K4 with 100% :aok

5 is the only one I tend to disagree with.....I feel like the other 190s handle a lot better in a dive then the 152

I've tried (<-- keyword) to fly the 152 a few times. I can't seem to keep it under control long enough to even engage a target, and when I finally do end up on someone's six I can never hit them with the gun.
It's not an easy plane to fly IMO, and I give props to those who have the patience to learn to fly them correctly.

that is not the case...the a5 and d9 are more maneuverable through a wider range of speeds than the 152.

I agree 100%

Ah, I should've clarified.. in a knife fight/turn fight/slow speed fight the 152 is top dog.. DrSpek and I tested that theory many many times in the DA :aok

against the a8 i could understand but, which of you was flying the dora? i've only gotten into a knife fight with a 152 once, not a smart move...pretty sure an il2 can out turn the thing. rather keep it where it excels, high and fast.

Not true my friend, the 152 is a damn well maneuverable plane. We were doing A5 vs 152 duels... when we fought in 190A5's we were even, literally every fight would go back and forth... but then when one got into the 152 (whichever one got in the 152) always won.
I've made the 152 turn with quite a few aircraft...even a spitfire or two, and hearing the stories about guys like Moot I don't doubt she can that and maybe even do much more :aok :salute

Ive turned the 152 with spits but if you dont get the job done in 2.. Max 3 turns its normally lights out for the 152. But as gyrene said.. Stick with what its best at. High and fast. In arguing ENY value referencing how you personally can fly her outside of the 'normal' does not really add anything to your argument for ENY. ENY is not based on one guys ability but on the way it shapes the game for the rest of us as a whole. Ive beatin A5's in turn fights as well redbull.. But its always been due to the pilot in the A5 and not the plane. Times where its a highly skilled A5 driver I seldom win knife fighting. I dont think your DA flights with drspek really add any support to the -1 vote.
Those would prob be some great films though.

You've taken what I said out of context or do not understand.

negative. I understood it just fine.

we disagree on its capabilities and I intended this thread to be about ENY. Hence why i said that referencing what you can personally make the 152 do has no bearing in a ENY argument.
Im interested in how people feel about how moving the eny to 15 would effect the game. Not to concerned with what it can outdive or has a bigger cannon then. If it was as superior as you say in every facet then i think it would see far more use. Im typing on a cell so sorry if it looks weird.

hmmmmmm I have an idea. PERK IT!!!! :neener:
I feel like it's fine Blu. Although I wouldn't mind the boost at all :D

try it with a dora vs 152...on the deck.
the only time i pay attention to eny is when it kicks in and even then i'll fly pretty much anything...i stink in all of them. :lol setting the eny to 15 would be an appropriate move, especially considering the changes that were made.

I agree. The 152 is a fun plane to maneuver in. I never had the chance to fight moot nor was I ever good in the 152... but I witnessed him be in a rolling scissors with a Spitfire and actually be typing to the guy on 200 every time he made him overshoot lol. Pretty crazy flying. He sure was a beast in it. Still IMO the eny should be raised a bit.
