Pretty simple. We spend almost all of our time in the 190 and love it. We are looking for those who want to learn how to fly those birds (A5, A8, Dora and 152) then learn how to fly the German Loose Deuce style of squad tactics.
Or, you already have a pretty good grasp of the 190s but want to fly Loose Deuce style.
Post here and we'll hunt you down. Or, send me a PM.

I bet this would work better over in the "Squads" threads :devil

Please do not disgrace the Focke Wulf FW 190 with Loose Deuce tactics. Rotte, give it a google.

Perdue, nice spam. If you have something like that send a PM. Yes, the Germans called it a rotte as it was primarily a two plane attack scheme. Americans (of which includes most players on AH) called it 'Loose Deuce." It should be noted that the American Finger Four took root in the German tactics as well.
-
Correct in some ways. The tactics differed quite a bit though. I dont wanna get into this. Good luck with your Loose Deuce 190s.

I.JG5 Loose Deuce 190s?

Those who want to fly the 190s....
A good discussion around tactics could start with this book:
http://books.google.com/books?id=hBxBdKr0beYC&printsec=frontcover&dq=fighter+combat&hl=en&sa=X&ei=upW8Ud2CN8-SiQfz_ICICQ&ved=0CDkQ6AEwAA
You will need a google account, which is free. You can then read this book on-line for free. It has great graphics showing fighter tactics. The author was a US Navy pilot.

Not to be a downer but this seems more to learn loose deuce style combat than 190s. Plus what's up with everyone loving 190s suddenly. Flavor of the month?

Perhaps many of he P51D, La7, and Spit16 players are getting tired of getting out of those planes smelling like perfume and lolly pops?

I think many are coming to understand that the Butcher Bird is simply awesome. The Butcher Bird Mafia lives!!
boo
PS We need someone with artwork skills to create a Butcher Bird Mafia avatar to show unofficial membership. Much like Brad Pitt and Fight Club....first rule of Butcher Bird Mafia, everyone straps on a Butcher Bird and shows why German Iron gets it done!

hmmm I like that idea!!!!
And there really hasn't been an increase in 190 usage in my eyes *waits for a diagram by lusche :D*
It's there seems to be an increase of current 190 pilots seeking help to get better in what I believe to be a rather difficult plane to master

190 Raid on A-13 last night was an awesome sight. Felled 2 of them before my D-9 was overcome by those a-8's, a-5's.
