I put texting the wife in third place behind poking a bear with a stick and jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.

I have found that anytime after 10-30pm text get ignored...this is due to her need, crazy as it may sound, to sleep.
but to be fair I only use this method of sustenance retrieval in extreme cases as it usually is followed up with when are you going to be finished, come and watch Game of thrones with me...why don't you....  so as I say...it works but every action has a positive and negative reaction

Text? Do you mean SMS? Heck, I've got both my hands and also my feet on the controllers, I can't text. But I can yell, and I can't hear any arguments because of the engine roaring in my headset.  :joystick:

My wife would hit me in the back of my head with a frying pan if I tried to pull something like that!

Seriously??  Sorry to hear that.

I must be married to the greatest woman in the world!  If I ask for a beer, I get a beer, If I ask for a sandwich, I get a sandwich.  17 years of marriage and its always been that way.

I will say though, my wife is normally at the computer next to me playing the same games I am.  Tip for all you younger guys, if you want to play games and you don't want to deal with all the crap about playing games, marry a gamer chick :)

Oh she does play, even more than me lately. But she has always been against the traditional roles i.e. she hates the thought of acting like a servant to her husband.

Whenever I ask 'whats for food' she quotes her grandmother who always shouted to her grandfather "eat your balls old man" :D

If I told Amy to do that she would kick me in the nuts.

She does make me sandwiches though... purely because she makes kickass sandwiches and likes to show off.

My wife wouldn't get the message for a few days, so that is a waste of time for me.  Not big on texting she is.
