Kept a few rockets in case of low bombers.

And here is the part where I die instantly from the rocket splash damage.  Two rocket hits and he gets the kill on me.   :bhead

I have tried many times to hit bombers with rockets, without success.  :rock

Ouch!

Several years back I was up in an F4U-1D with 8 rockets. This was long before achievements. I spot a low set of lancasters and I think, What the Heck, I'll fire a couple of rockets at them. Well I forgot I had my salvo set to 8. Thinking I had the solution I fire. I can only describe the sound as a Semi hitting an Aluminum can, almost like a chirp, crunch! Back then it seems when you hit one you kill all 3. So three kills just like that.

usually better to hit near them with the wg21 but sometimes you score a direct hit.
