I'll try my best to look and act surprised  :O

<sarcasm> I am VERY shocked that a government agency would spy on the people. That would not happen in 'merica the land of the free and so on and so forth </sarcasm>

Next thing you know, there will be cameras all over the place in the Tube...

So when your 5yo goes missing you dont think we should have access to a drone to look for them? Or to tail drug dealers? Or terrorists? Or for forest fires? I dont much like the idea of everything we say and do getting recorded somewheres, and Im against it. But there are situations that would require a drone. Or warrant one.

What Im against is the casualness Govt. has in recording everything we say and do. Thats a bunch of horse manure there. If people saw how little all these cameras help us they would laugh. They arent even worth the money spent, and they sure as hell arent worth the invasion of our rights.

What happens if they lose something that "doesn't exist" and someone finds it.

Do they get to keep it?

I look forward to owning one someday.

Yes, we have.  They are all very noticeable, as well.

Drones are smaller than the palm of your hand and some are smaller than a quarter and are not quite as noticeable as the aforementioned...

How is this any different from a helicopter flying over with a guy in the back looking at a screen displaying the ground?

Not a criminal? What are you worried about?

On the up side I'm sure in some states you can shoot them down if they violate your airspace  :bolt:

:aok Thats why I wrote it. I live in the country with more cameras per square mile than anywhere in the world, and I hionestly and truthfully never think about camera's when I am out and about. If GCHQ/NSA/FBI/NCIS etc etc ad infinitum, want to read my web history, email account, or texts to my other half I would bet on them being bored to tears, but if they feel the need I reallyu could care less :)

Give me six lines written by the most honorable of men, and I will find an excuse in them to hang him.

I comfort myself with the sure and certain knowledge that I am sufficiently insignificant that no government would care that I have an unnatural interest in WW2.

I did however read 'The Catcher in the Rye' once so I may well be wrong :bolt:

I would think 'Catch 22' was more conducive to inspiring subterfuge ;)

we have that in some places here too. along with "discreetly" placed cameras that can also listen in on public conversations.
