Strafing the chart room before troop deployment is some times called for on the vox.  What is the reason for the strafing?  I did a google on this one and came up empty.

Sometimes a bailed pilot is hiding inside it, shooting the troops with his .45 as they enter.

				 :rofl
 love how you googled it.

Strafing the map room is meant to clear the map room of anyone you might have ditched their plane to kill the troops.

				 :rofl
 love how you googled it.

 How is that funny?  :headscratch:

Probably because it's merely an in-game tactic and not an historical one.

Go to Google, type in "Site: bbs.hitechcreations.com <insert query here>" and violin!  Google search for AH stuff turns from funny to awesome!

:rofl I used to love doing that. I haven't tried it since the town maprooms are different now. Can that still be done? I'll have to do a covert op tonight and find out.  :devil

Yes you can still enter it. It's larger than the old one as well :)

And if you hide under the table you are strafe-proof. Honest.

No matter how simple the question, someone has to piss in the Cheerios. Sad.

strafing maproom does no good anymore now because they are basically hardened bunkers you have either hit with a rocket or a bomb to kill anything inside many a time I have sat in maproom with 45 in hand and just watch all the pretty planes try to strafe me
