"It always is harder to be left behind than to be the one to go..." - Brock Thoene
I joined Aces High back in 2001, and have thoroughly enjoyed the last 12 years flying with the 412th Braunco Mustangs, Devil Dogs, and the 416 Squadron. During this time, I have met many virtual pilots where I'm confident we will remain friends for the rest of our lives.
Unfortunately, my interest in Aces High has been decreasing over the last several months. Some of this due to lack of graphics, much of it due to gameplay, and a little from the broken record we call channel 200.
I wish all of my friends and formidable enemies the best. We've had some great times and I'm sure some frustrating ones as well... but all in all, I will retain the fond memories of my tenure here.
Periodically I will review the development/improvement status of the game and hope it will eventually peak my interest to return.
If anyone is interested in staying in touch, I will also maintain my forum account to facilitate that communication.
Good luck and good hunting! <Salute>

I took some time off and it did wonders for my attitude. Well sorta. :lol
When I came back I enjoyed the game more than ever. Then it also helped that I was readily accepted back into my old squad. Another was a new video card (once over clocked).
Take care Pand and we look forward to your return. :salute

Pand it was great flying with and against you...
I will always remember the night I was fighting rooks and got a pm from you.
As I was reading "is that you?" in my text, bullets were tearing apart my plane and I was promptly in the tower. :uhoh
I cursed you out on my vox for that one for the rest of the night but did it with a smile because I fell for it...too funny. :aok
If anything else, you improved my SA.. :D
Hope to see you back in game someday soon.. :salute

I'm actually not very happy you're leaving. Disagreements in style aside, I always found you to be a reasonable man. Good luck to you and PM me if you decide to shade, lol. We can fly and visit, lol

Chill out, enjoy summer - you'll be back just like the rest of us.

Since I began playing, in 2001 as well, I've taken several breaks. I'll likely take more. I have much less time to spend in game, these days. Nonetheless, sometimes one needs to change the routine. Take care of yourself, Pand. :salute

Thank you all for the kind words and memories mentioned above and via PM. I wish everyone the best and hope we meet again in the virtual skies--- if not in this one, than maybe another. :salute

Nah, seriously, too bad to see you go. Like Ink said, your approach to cartton flying and mine are polar opposites, but salutes to you, sir, for all you've done for this game and community. You'll be missed in this looney-bin. All the chan 200 purse fights aside, I'd have a beer with ya, hell, I'd buy 'em.

Hi Pand,
You're in good company, as I'm on sabbatical as well. :D
I wish you all the best and hope this finds you in good health
and spirits.
It was -always- a distinct pleasure to fly with you and I thank you
for the friendship and comraderie as well as the knowledge you
imparted to me over the years.
You always were, and remained a true gentleman throughout
your time in Aces High and I thank you for the fine example
you set.
Best regards,
Oddball
