...with MIG-15, F-86, Tu-4, B-29. Can anyone add others to this list?. Small maps to enable easy access to fights and carpet bombing.

Great idea for custom arena gameplay.
-
Problem with jet combat is speeds in different dimensions. Actual in game dimension and cp lag wise. I don't know the precise details but this has been ask for previously.
Jet combat is way more difficult than prop plane combat, maneuvers take more time, and more
more space. Not to say that wouldn't stop me from trying to kill the hi end stuff with a sea fury or corsairs

What? How do you think we have 262 fights now lol?
IIRC (dont hold me to it) HT has said he wants one day to have a cold war arena, though

That is an F-8 Crusader in the picture above.

I rather like to have a Korean war arena. Which would lay down the infrastructure for a cold war arena.

I'd like the Korean War arena without further infrastructure for a guided missile/SAM fest.
Having a Spanish Civil War fest would be cool. Kinda plugs some of the gap tween WWI and WWII.

Avro Arrow and XB-70 Valkyrie!
The Valkyrie would be a bad addition. Only 3 models were built
But it would be the fastest plane around

This is better than the OP wish.
:aok hotcoffe
-
That twin mustang would be neat.
-
Only six of the Arrow were ever built, but y'know, while we're wishing for the cold war arena, we might as well wish big.
I'd also like AN-602 100 Mt bomb for the Valkyrie to carry. Only one built and it's a Russian weapon, but it'd be so cool!

What, no ICBMs?
Pick a decade and stick to it guys, geeze louise.
-
Well, ICBMs have no pilot, the line has to be drawn somewhere.
The Almaz armed space station with the 30mm Nudelman cannon though - that's got to have a place.

The only 'bad' thing about a KW arena is that there's more potential for UN aircraft
than there is for NK aircraft.

I know we had radar aimEd rockets.....like in the F86D :D
-
Eventually the F=86s carried Aim-9 Sidewinders.

You know, early missiles were not that effective. Don't let Hollywood fool you, you had to work
for even a heatseeker kill.
-

Did I? I didn't see me say that. But what I did say was:
Korea.
(You won't have guided missiles in that arena.) :D

:airplane: Don't overlook the F-86D all weather interceptor, which as you can see from photos, it had a radar dome mounted on the front, above the intake for the engine!

Not quite sure how well the things worked out and but it sure looked impressive up close!

Eventually the F=86s carried Aim-9 Sidewinders.
First combat use of the Sidewinder was in 1958, probably by one of those ROC F-86s in the bottom picture you posted.

Sorry Ak, guess I'm just being a jerk :D Oh yeah, the Sabre Dog wasn't the only Sabre to
mount a radar, although it was alot bigger than the fighter models.
I'm amazed that it didn't see combat until 58 myself. By that time we had plenty of jets that
could mount them.

Same here, and was equally surprised that we let the ROC forces combat test them out for us against the Chinese. I would have thought the USAF would be hesitant to let the ROC forces test the Sidewinder and risk possibly having a F-86 shot down that was equipped with the missiles and recovered by the Chinese.
