Who in their right mind would have thought that would be mentioned nearly halfway through the season?

Now if they can just keep from self destructing this season like they have for the past three seasons once reaching this point in the year.

On the plus side (and all that i care about really, though playoffs and a world series would be icing on the cake) all we have to do is win just six more games of the 32 remaining to break the 20 year losing streak!

Still a lot of game left, but unless we start hitting off Wainright right now, we don't have a chance.

I would love to see them make it further, but even if they don't, they played one hell of a season and I don't think any other team winning the world series will compare to how these guys should feel for their accomplishment of going from a loosing season for last 20 years to having a 94-68 regular season and at worst a 3-3 playoff run.
