Title: Aim Bots, Hacking
Post by: TJsweet on June 28, 2013, 02:42:13 PM
If this stuff is going on and apparently is then please tell me why I'm going to pay you fifteen dollars a month to play this game. What do you do to ensure were not being cheated? I do not feel like i want to pay money to be cheated anymore but will give you the chance to assure me that you are on top of this situation, that logs are checked and that hacks are banned.

Hi-tech and the gang take cheating and allegations very serious. If you witness a "cheater" film them and send said film to hitech for review

You would be better served deleting this post and e-mailing HTC or pming Skuzzy Hightech or Pyro... Seriously why not go ahead and take that path while you can.  :)

Oh boy, if you believe someone is film it and turn it in to Hitech and if they are deemed a cheat they will be gone in record time. In my time here i can only think of 1 time where some has cheated and that person was banned within hours. Trust me, the people crying about cheating just aren't very good.

Is this like a threat or something for asking a simple question about the integrity of the game?

TJsweet! You're post is burning, bail out! bail out while you still can!

as stated before, if you are suspicious of someone, film it and send it in to HTC.

It's years of experience.

HTC takes cheating and allegations of cheating very seriously. The do not post anything publicly regarding any allegations or the outcome of research. It's best to email or PM them directly; you will get nothing but grief from the community.

This is in reference to a post that was made today about someone saying they have aimbot. I did not say i was cheating they said they were.

We take cheating very seriously.

See rule #7.

We do not speak about  what we do to prevent cheating other than to say, anyone caught cheating is banned, and blocked from AH.

Your post is exactly why the other thread was locked. rumors of cheating can be just as detrimental as the act itself.
