I dont get so pumped up anymore now that I have a kid in. Proud yes...but pumped??

I was in when Reagan got elected in '80. Morale went 360% over night. We need another guy like him. These troops need a pay raise, better conditions, and the best weapons and training money can buy. And they deserve a plan before getting thrown into a meat grinder.

I understand Rich.  This one just has always personally pumped me up because right before my Ranger Battalion jumped into Afghanistan, they played this speech with background music over the loudspeakers in our staging area.  Made us even more ready to go kick some azz.  :salute
