Actually it wasn't a virus i just rushed installed something. And all im trying to do is add something to my sig. Trust me my PC is pretty danm clean :P (Avast agrees)
Again this is not me. What i was trying to do is copy a imgur link into my sig but if i add the [IMG][IMG\] tags in HTML it says a hacking attempt, it is a .gif if it matters.

Used to put avast on PCs I built or repaired for folks until most were coming back infected with viruses. This was a few years ago but please consider another anti-virus. Not saying this is your particular problem.
Lately have had good luck with Microsoft security essentials which is free.
Kaspersky also has some awesome free tools to check and clean your pc. http://www.kaspersky.com/virus-removal-tools (http://www.kaspersky.com/virus-removal-tools)

That message means your computer has either a bot running on it (most are missed by anti-virus software), a virus, or spyware/malware. What it is trying to do is infest every site you are connecting to with your browser.
I betting it is a bot.

I'd think anything with the name 'Avast' that isn't a pirate game would make me pause. ;)

Im sorry I really think this is not the case... It only happens when i try to put the (http://) tags in HTML it says hacking attempt. It only happens when its a .gif file. Mater of fact it even happens on my Ubuntu boot and on a different computer so its NOT a bot.

Try out my good friend Malwarebytes. Takes care of some stuff normal security software will miss.
- Go to www.malwarebytes.com
- Download the install file
- Boot to Safe Mode with networking
- Install and update Malwarebytes
- Run a full scan, and let it fix whatever it finds
I have found that if properly, this works just about every time.

Of course, if you are trying to inject HTML code into the stream, it is going to trigger that error. It is a legitimate error, and if you are not careful it could ban you from the bulletin board.

Yea but I think simple IMG /IMG codes don't hurt anything? They work fine on here for example. (http://i.imgur.com/ATPAJ54.jpg)

BBC code is NOT html code.
The code below is what I use to put the logo in my signature (notice it is missing a bracket on each end, which is why you can see the code and NOT the picture)

post exactly what you were trying to do....post the code you were using.
make sure you leave out beginning and closing tags and quote it so we can see it as text...or take a screen shot.
