When I was playing I know there were times where I would log off when I saw certain maps up, and/or if the arena's were basically empty.
My wish, plain and simple, is to have somewhere (Whether here on the BBS or on the front page, maybe next to the top ranking pilots of that tour) a section that reads something to the effect of:
"Current map: .....
Previous map: ....
Next map: ........."
Also, around that same area perhaps it could also list the number of players in each arena, on a per hour update basis, if that is possible?
I don't know how difficult it would be, or hell, if it's even possible to do something like that on the website, but it sure would be nice to be able to see what map is up and/or how many players are in the arena (especially for the Euro players I would think) while strolling around the website/BBS.

Could it possible lead to less players logging in and play? "Oh, XY is up, I won't even bother to log on.", while without that knowledge this player might log in and, despite being disappointed by the map, do a few sorties just because he's already there...

Painfully true... I know I'd not log in for some maps...

Good point, but my thought on that would be: Could this help us figure out what kind of maps don't seem to work for most players? Perhaps help future map makers say 'hey.. I never notice many people on this map, this map, or this map.. what do they have in common? Too small? bases too far away? Too clustered? Too linear?' as well as help HTC find the less popular maps to maybe remove from rotation next when we get a new map?
Maybe HTC could even make the 'less popular' maps only come up every other time per map rotation? (If that makes any sense)
