Now that we hav new tanks and new updates.it would nice to see new tank brew(fire) up graphic or explosions please. it would be nice if a tank just didnt explode every time,maybe(depending on where it is hit-(engine compartment maybe) it would srart smoking alot more than we have...then catch fire and build......giving the player time to bail out...then explode. or maybe another type of explosion,or more like a non explosion that kills the tank(depnding on where it is hit) but dosent explode at all......one guy gets the kill,one guy gets killed,maybe some get assist...but the tank stays there for up to 10 seconds or so.......players would still think the tank is active and would fire at it..they would not recive assists.we have this in the air,the aircraft is "killed" its icon disapears but its energy allows it to fly for a short time until it falls out of the ssky and crashes.i have seen players continue to shoot at these at times. for the tank,it would add more realism as in real life some tanks were killed,but did not explode,it would create a little chaos at a camped spawn,maybe allowing one side to repeatedly spawn in and break the spawn.it sure would make for some intense spawn action in gv's.

we have that its called lag and the added effects would probly cause more problems for those on slower systems

One of the animations I would like to see for tanks is flames from the ammo cooking, like the photo of this Panther tank shows after it was hit by a US tank destroyer.

why should everyone who has a decent computer be penalized because somebody dosent want to donater their computer to the smithsonian? maybe its time to upgrade,or if you cant afford it,there is always world of warcraft

because eye candy will make people play the same game.
you're saying more eye candy will keep you in the game?

May I suggest that for the fire thing, maybe a fire like a fuel fire we have now in and airplane for a couple seconds, then an explosion? I don't mind the effects now but to each there own

why should I be penalized by not having a awesome cp when I'm completly content with the current game?
My parents are fine with the cp, and I'm pretty sure they don't really want to buy a new cp just so I can have some eye candy(IMO would be nice to have but there's a difference between needs and wants)

explosions would be like eye candy, by players choice. if you dont have a good pc then you wont see the explosions.

i dont call it eye candy,i call it variety. when an aircraft is shot by another aircraft...depending on where it is hit,it has a list of things that can be damaged. for each thing damaged there is a result...such as black smoke,or white or gray smoke,or parts coming off,and even flaming and explosion and pilot wound too. i think that the list of damage and result of said damage should be longer on GV's...and not some gamey type thing like...you shoot a tank and there is a giant explosion and zombies come out of the crater and you shoot them...no. i would like to see MORE historicaly accurate results. thats not eye candy.thats more realism for the emersion of the game play. if you have an older computer,you would see less detail,a newer computer would see more detail

You tube has some very good videos of SAA and FSA tanks being destroyed. All would be good models.
Since we fight out of the open hatch, just having flames blow out of the top would be very realistic. Although, admittedly, the flying turret is fun to watch...

i just have to know...what are you wanting to brew up in the tanks? and you want it in a graphic or blow it up?
