we could use the m26 to combat the tigers an panthers an such. :rock
the A-26 would be cool, or maybe a PBY w/ some ords an a cpl guns that can be launched from ports. Swordfish that can be launched from cruisers... or gliders so we can carry supplies in the skytrain anthe glider, or troops in the c47 an a jeep in the glider etc. the p61 blackwidow or the ki84 w/ the 4 20mm's would rock. :airplane: :joystick: :rock
just my wish list for the day lol.

no comment on anything else, but I don't think they ever put a 4 cannon Ki84 into production, they made a few 4 cannon Ki-44's though I belive

no comment on anything else, but I don't think they ever put a 4 cannon Ki84 into production, they made a few 4 cannon Ki-44's though I belive
The 30mm Ki-84 never entered production. 200-300 four 20mm cannon Ki-84s were built. The only cannon armed Ki-44s had two 40mm recoiless cannons, no Ki-44 ever carried 20mm cannons.

sorry I was mistaken, it wasn't 4 it was 2 on the Ki-44-III and the Ki-44-III was just a prototype, I am pretty sure it never left the drawing board,I was just going from memory before, so thank you in part for correcting me

I think you're thinking of the Ki-43-IIIb, which was to have had two 20mm cannons. The Ki-44 never carried them so far as I've read.
FYI, hundreds, probably more than 1000, Ki-43-IIIs were built, armed with the same two 12.7mm guns our Ki-43-II has.
