Title: Question on Short Cut
Post by: earl1937 on July 28, 2013, 02:01:38 PM
:airplane: Up until about 3 days ago, I had a short cut on my favorites bar, which I could click and come straight to Aces High home page! Now, I have to go thru goggle to get to Aces High, and only then the AHBB. Any ideas on what is going on?

It probably got inadvertently deleted or inadvertently moved father down your favorites list.

I'd just add it again or move it up the list.

Go to: 'Start' : then go to 'programs' : then scroll down to 'all programs' and select that: then go to and select 'Aces High II' : then select 'Aces High' : then left click and a drop down menu will appear. Select 'send to.' Another drop down menu will appear. Select 'desktop (create shortcut).'

 :salute  :)

:airplane:That is what is wrong then, because I use ATT.net, wish I had stayed with Comcast!

 :headscratch:

Creating a shortcut for your desktop has nothing to do with your service provider. Having an empty drop-down bar doesn't sound good, though.

 Arlo,

you were teaching Earl to do a shortcut to the game,I may be mistaken but I think Earl lost his shortcut to Aces High BBS.  Slightly different and possibly the cause for confusion.

spent about three hours and the phone with at&t.  Went up three levels no joy.  This has been going on nearly a week now.

:airplane: I too went as far as they would allow me to go to talk to higher ups and something is going on with ATT and Aces High! Not sure why a internet provider would stop their customers from using any legal web site, so best I can figure is, ATT is now run by a bunch from some other country, guess it was someone who we kicked their A++, and this now payback!

:airplane: This is the weird part, I put AHBB in search bar, with ATT, went straight here to forum and I then created a desktop short cut, that is how I am getting to this point. I can click on home page, get the same message that I get with search engine, web page can't be shown!
Another thing I noticed this morning, when I placed WW2 flight simulator games in search bar, no "HiTechcreations" showed up anywhere. I notified Skuzzy this morning about that. None of the search engines would show Aces High. But I would bet that if you were Comcast or any other internet provider, you would probably see the ads for Aces High. What does that say about ATT?

Lena threw me a kiss as she ran out the door.

She came in through the bedroom window.

I’ll call you when I’m through writing my essay.

Have you read through the article I left you?

Practice:

(a) Pyro drove _____ a red light.

(b) Scuzzy _____ a coin into the fountain and made a wish.

(c) I’m _____ listening to your excuses.

On this thread:

The conclusion is that it is something AT&T did based on customer complaints.

The problem has been solved by HTC staff.  The home page is now up for at&t customers. :)

:airplane: you sir are correct! Threats to with draw service accounts and threats of public use of print media and TV about the un-fair treatment of Aces High does wonders!!
