While HTC doesn't publically anounce what their sources were for modelling any particular plane, it's rather obvious that our in-game "190A-5" matches perfectly the chart of a captured, repaired, and modified 190G-3 which stands apart distinctly from the speed and power charts of 190A-5s.
We've updated the "109G-10" to reflect its proper name... It was always based onthe K-4, and now it is a K-4. Let's do the same here. Rename the A-5 to the G-3.
Remove the cowl guns (the flight test simply added weight ballast where they were, assuming that would make it an A-5, which it didn't), remove the outboard MG/FF (190Gs did not carry this), reduce the inboard MG151/20 to 150 rounds per gun (a weight savings measure).
The 190G series was the long-distance bomber. It could carry the following loadouts:
Centerline:
drop tank
500kg bomb
250kg bomb
4x50kg
Wing pylons:
2 DTs
2 250kg bombs
2x 20mm gunpods with 250 rpg (for both ground attack and bomber hunting) -- probably won't see this in-game though
What we have is not a true 190A-5, so let's name it what it is truly modeled after, and add the loadout options.
Then we open up the path for a true 190A-5 later on. The modeling is already done. The power curves and the speeds all match up to a 190G-3. Let's just make it a G-3!

Or you could modify the speed and power curves and make it a proper A-5....
-
I must admit.....we don't need another....oh wait YES!
Another 190 model!
So that just leaves the fat A8, F8, and D9 to fight in, niether turn all that well.
We need a replacemeant fast!
A3 perhaps? :pray

The assumption being you couldn't fight in the "G-3"? It might even be a more effective fighter, given the weight savings.
-
or make it a little bigger, extend the wings, add a bomb bay, couple of turrets and we have a brand new a-26.

There is little incentive for them to do this. The flight model is already in place modeled after a G-3, so in the spirit of HTC cleaning up some of their earlier compromises by making the flight models and the names more accurate, renaming it to G-3 is really the easiest solution.

While it helped, part of it was to increase the range of the plane as well. It did not make up for some of the extra weight because the plane flew almost always with all 3 stations loaded with something or other. It was reportedly slower than the A-5 series, and looking at the speed charts for various 190 test flights from WW2, the G-3 is a bit slower than A-5s.

I'm no FW historical expert, but I kind of like the current A5. How about making Krusty's change simultaneous with adding a correct A5. Until the correct A5 is available, leave it as is.

The problem is waiting until they add the proper A-5 may take another decade and a half :devil
I can't wait that long.

Excuse me for asking, but since this is a hidden request to get a new 190A5 modeled, what is the expected difference in performamce vs the current A5/G3?

If I remember correctly, 190G's had extra oil tanks, and fuel tanks.
Root cannons were loaded either 125, or 135 rounds each.
They also had a PKS auto pilot.
Ability to have 6 20mm guns(WB mg-151/20 gun pods)
the 190G series also had a rack under the wings
Called a V.FW. Trg. Which enabled the 190G's to carry not just ords but external
fuel tanks as well
wonder if it gets added, will webget the 1,000kg, 1,600kg, and 1,800kg bombs?

+1 yes please up date this model to proper 190 g-3, give us a proper 190 A-5,and update us with a 190 A-9 :x

I think for the best representation, we would need at least 6 models of 190.
A very early A model (A-2?) a proper A-5, separate early and late A-8's, the D-9, and our F-model (effectively covering the F 1-3 and most F-8 subvariants.
Additionally, there would be the question of using our current A-5 to create a G-3, as it is mostly armament based, and as we've seen, it is relatively easy for HTC to modify the loadouts provided the weapons system already exists in the game.
Now I know that sounds like a lot of 190, but there were substantial differences.

You're quite mistaken. It is not a hidden request. It's an open and transparent request to rename our A5 to be what it really is. It was never an A-5. Ever since the start it's matched a very unique chart for a captured G-3 that was tested during WW2.
I would like a revisiting of both the 3D shapes and the variants we have for the Fw190s, but I know this won't happen anytime soon. HTC has too much on their plates. When that happens I'm not even so sure we would need an A-5 variant. However, having this one throwback to an earlier time when HTC made compromises and made decisions that were good "at the time" no longer applies to this modern level of accuracy they use today. The "A-5" we have reflects an inaccurate designation. It has always irked me. It detracts from HTCs higher standards these days. It's like renaming the P-40B to the P-40C. It's just needed.
I've seen a better chart that listed half a dozen different fw190 test charts, but this one also has our G-3 on it. Amongst all the Fw190 speed graphs, that particular captured 190G-3 stands out and is unique. It's easy to spot.

Compare it to our chart:

Using the Fi156 flattens out the graph because you have one that is from 320mph to 440mph and the other graph is from 60mph to 460mph.
Here is an AH chart showing from 260mph to 460mph, which is as close as I can come to the first chart you posted.

The Fw190A-5 in AH is clearly slower than what is shown in your first chart.

It's FTH speed is a few mph slower, only. That may be due to weight issues where HTC took the base configuration then changed weights and loadouts (for example the outboard MG/FF on a true A5, the reduced gun load on inboard MG151/20s on the G3, etc). That would more than account for a few mph difference.
