Title: Anyone playing on a Mac?
Post by: neckbone on August 01, 2013, 04:23:22 PM
Was thinking about getting back into the game, but I currently only own a mac computer.  Was wondering if anyone had had any luck playing on a Mac with Parallels?

I think most, if not all the Mac players, are using BOOTCAMP and running Windows 7 to play the game.

I happily played AH on my iMac with Boot Camp.

Anyone know if a new mac mini (2.5 GHz dual core i5 and Intel HD Graphics 4000) has enough horse power to run the current game?  Don't want to go through buying Bootcamp and Windows to find out, if I can help it.

Thanks,

Neckbone

How much system RAM?  If it has less than 4GB, then it will not do very well.

The CPU is a bit on the low side, and so is the video chip.  You would need to turn down all the graphic options to the minimums.
