i was wandering why we dont have extended periods of night in the game, i think it would be cool to have a night time furball or night time cv battle etc we get close but it goes right to daylight. and the other thing is maybe a winter map i think that would be fun. what do people think??? :airplane: :noid

night is a no-no. We had it a long time ago and when it turned to night people logged off in droves. Those that stayed many would turn up their gamma to make it more like day light anyway. It has been brought up many times and HTC has said it won't happen again in the main arenas.
As for the winter maps. You have to build it. Of course with that many custom tiles it most likely wouldn't be accepted as HTC would have to spend a lot of time de-bugging it even if they considered allowing it.

winter, light rain,light snow? sure, id love it just as long as Frame rates aren't murdered. Used to have night but people used gamma settings to avoid it. I would love it personally just wish there was a way to avoid gamma tweaks... you'd almost have to set it pitch black beyond ability for people to see at first that way gamma tweakers would only have "regular" night once they attempt to adjust it id imagine. would love to see night fighters that only have icons come up 200- during night...

Lol. If HTC would add nightfighters with functional radar, I'd say bring on the night.

There's enough different night fighters everyone ought to be able to find SOMETHING to enjoy.

if night was done properly it would be perfect. Night fighters galore, manable/ AI spot lights... etc. Just haven't found a perfect solution yet

After watching MRcrabs video it doesn't even seem all that bad to me. would people still up the gamma on xmas eve that you know of?

once a year it's fun. I never up my gamma but lots of people do just like they did before. they talk about it on range and 200.

I think there's arena settings that render gamma adjustment useless for cheating the night effects.

God I miss night in Titanic Tuesday. At times, I really want to hate most of the player base for being such closed-minded, EZ moding twits :furious.
