I am curious to see why the typhoon is in 3D but the tempest is not, isn't the only difference the wing design?

there are several differences between the 2. Other wise they would have done it.

What are they?

I am wondering as well, I don't have any good books about the typhoon or the tempest, but would like to know what the differences are

This should be good.

On the plus side our Typhoon is a late model which shares the Tempest's propeller, canopy and tail section. Also the engine and radiator cowlings should be the same as the Tempest. However just about everything else is different. The Tempest wing is much thinner with a laminar flow section and semi elliptical planform. The gear and flaps are also completely different. The fuselage is longer on the Tempest as they had to move the fuel tanks there due to the thinner wing. The cockpit interior would need a revised 3D model and new art which is a major job in itself.

@Aztec
I personally didn't know the differences off the top of my head, but I know there's an earlier thread on this topic. Was haveing trouble finding it
