Jayro put up a mission to take a port and is support I upped a set of B17s with 12 500 lb. bombs. That's my standard for the B17s. I asked Jayro if I could go ahead an roll since I'm in bombers. He said "Good, sink the Cv." Uh, I'll try. I'm not good at this cv bombing. I get to about 9k and level. When I spot the cv it's not turning and coming straight toward. Of course in front is the Battleship. After Calibrating a couple of times I figure I would lead the ship by 1.25 ship lengths. I've been told if you are 10k lead by one ship but the Cv was moving towards me. As practice I thought I would drop one set, 9 eggs, 3 per bomber, on the Battleship and the rest on the CV. Much to my delight and surprise the BBS and the CV both went down. Ended up landing 23.96 perks. That makes for a good bombing day I tell you. Then amazingly we captured the base and the CV. Unfortunately we didn't hold them long.

One detail, we don't have a battleship in AH. The ship in front of the carrier is a heavy cruiser with 8" guns, far smaller and less protected than a battleship would be, and lacking the 14"-18" guns WWII battleships carried.
