I can count on info on plane crashes in this forum. Why is there no comment on this midair collision?
-
1) Nothing on CNN's website
2) I live in Alaska. I doubt it will be showing up on the late edition tonight.
Now, why not post a link?

The only thing I heard was it was two Air National Guard F-16's that collided in mid-air. One pilot was rescued off the coast of Virginia after ejecting. The other pilot was able to rtb and land safely.

Obviously the collision model is flawed. Both should have went down! :old:

Two F-16C Fighting Falcon jets from the 113th Wing D.C. Air National Guard
That explains it. Where's Eagle and Hatrick. Hatrick used to fly F-16's for the VA National Guard.
One of "those" posts on the internets said that these F-16's were targeting the Whitehouse and were shot down. Not saying if that's good or bad, but probably not accurate.

Some info on how the hoax likely started...

Too bad it got canceled. Could have been interesting.
Glad both pilots are safe. :uhoh

That nuclear sub thing had me sucked in. Didn't figure out it wasn't real until it was canceled. They should put disclaimers in the show like they did with the original broadcast of "War of the Worlds".
Our military would never try to over though our government. Right?
