Thanks to everybody that flew on my mission or flew against it.  We definitely succeeded in our goal as stated in the mission title.  We only got 2 of 5 bombers to the target, and only 1 bomber RTB, so LW definitely had some success too.  Your turn, Goeringites.   :)

no way funked !! 1 spit can  kill  alone 10 ju 88 but to kill  a 1 B 26 we need  10  Bf 109 !!

Did daddog make it home? I was with about 5 guys on RW who all made attacks on him (some twice - like me) and the bastard shot us all down (some twice - like me).  :)

You shoulda seen our country channel while we all tried to pinpoint your location... it was nuts.

Daddog would have made it home but he discoed just short of an rtb. Funked and myself as his gunner made it home.

That sure was fun. Limited icons and radar sure can make things interesting  :) Pure concentrated fun

:( Missed that.

 I did participate in one interception of a large LW raid last night. AKLArry did a swel job of coordinating and position reporting on the Jerries.

I also love the radar and icon settings. For example, not seeing a bogy until the ack started shooting at it was surreal. I'd not even seen him until the puffs of ack ack gave him away. And then I had to track that dot for a while to try and bounce him.

Boy did I ever disco. We were 10 min from base, 100' over the water, I had two dead gunners and some other damage. Funked covering my 6 and just nailed my 5th kill.

Had a great time!  :D Funked great leading! <S> Rosco great gunning! Ozark thanks for coming to our rescue and anyone else who answerd our "mayday mayday" calls.  :)

Daddog that disco was a bummer!  You are a SCARY gunner.

Minus I wouldn't be so sure.  Ju 88 are pretty durable aircraft, and can really do some aerobatics if they get in trouble.   :)

These missions wouldn't be fun if we didn't have LW interceptors putting up such a strong fight.  <S> for your brave attacks on our bombers!
