Would be nice if we could adjust the VOX Level of individuals. Some people are real loud & some are way low. Maybe a dot command like ".voxlvl Skuzzy 75" with a range of say 0-100 or some option when you right click on them in the roster.

I just play with my headset volume with a control on the side :aok
-
It would just be nice to not have to constantly be turning the volume control up and down
-
When you it your slash key to open up the text buffer, also opened is a box (defaulting to the right-hand side) showing people in Range. Being able to right-click their names and adjust/mute/wingman/etc drop-down list would be pretty great.

Perhaps you could speak with the "loud talker" and help him adjust his mic volume; it would only take 5 minutes max. Everyone else with bleeding ears will thank you, and HTC would not have to waste time coding something into the game that is not necessary if people would just learn how to properly adjust their computer equipment.

It's the age of apps are smarter than we are and supposed to make our lives convenient with a mouse click.

Not sure that is entirely possible. My mic keeps losing the ingame DB Boost levels automatically. I log in and make sure the slider is maxed and anywhere from the next transmission to a half dozen later, the slider has moved down by itself, no matter how many times I adjust it up. Others have told me this happens to them as well, so i am not alone. Usually people complain they can't hear me, but not always, so I have to intermittently get a commo check or auto tune to check it. Pain in the rear. And some people come in real load to me while others tell me that same person sounds fine on their end, so I do not know what the problem is, but it is not all operator head space and timing.

Yes, it is. My Windows settings stay the same, just the ingame boost slider adjusts downward all by its self. Started a couple of updates back, probably last year I think.

Some time the 'loud talkers' aren't the problem its the quiet guys I have trouble with. I mean I can deal with Bustr on vox but I cant hear a thing Ra says.

Halo... check the bug reports and/or technical solutions forums. I had the exact same problem, as did many others. There's an obscure file you go into and make some sort of setting change, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember what it was.
Fixed me right up.. probably 6 months ago or so..
If I remember the details, I'll let ya know.
Here is a similar thread about it. http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,349406.0.html
