Title: Keerist the short range icons....

Was in funkedups mission last night and when a 109 comes screaming down on you the icons pops up at 2.9...I jumped to the top turret and was pointed the wrong way...by the time I got the thing pointed in the right direction I was smoking with 1 engine out!

Wow!!  Can't take yer eyes off a dot at any time.

Not at all. You've got to be scanning the skies at all time whether a gunner or pilot.

Sure raises that pucker factor  :)

I'm glad to see that skernsk has been bitten by the bug. Cool huh skernsk? Had fun flying with you and mason in the CT last night. See if ya can get some more FDB's in there.

Yeah I felt the same way Skernsk, that was a great bounce.  He was on us before we could react.

Heh...funked remind me of "flaps" next mission..LOL!

Thanks for the lesson(s) hblair.  I want to learn 109 in the CT....look for a poorly flown LW 109 and it will be skernsk :)
