I've never understoond cheating to get anything in life....especially a "high score". What does one get out of it? Glory? Even if the cheater does achieve this end, they know it's all based on bulls__t so what's the point?

I think it comes down to the perks you earn for that in early war can be used in Late war.

But I can tell you this, if it turns out what you say is true (which I hope this is just some kind of misunderstanding), Zacherof will be booted from the 56th in a heartbeat. We do not condone or support any kind of dishonest game play.

Haha, nearly no perks were earned, if ya look closely they mostly involved bails, you don't get perks from bails without contact.

Well then you won't mind shooting your buddy Zacherof a squad invite. Because as far as I'm concerned he's done flying with the 56th. And I'm pretty damned sure 100% of my squaddies feel the same way.
We don't play that crap. I for one have put in a lot of hours in this game and have a reputation of being an honest and fair player. I won't be associated with what I consider to be a "cheater", no matter how harmless YOU think your activities are.
The 56th FG has a good and respectable history in this game and I'll be damned if I'll stand by and watch some kid screw that up. Let him join the FreeBirds and you can wack each other off non stop for all I care.

HTC should have never allowed perk points gained in one arena to be used in another. Perks and achievements should only be good for the arena they're collected in.

My only question would be did they do it to take the name in lights away from the ppl who do the exact same thing to get their name in lights every tour in the EW & MW? Not that it really matters, both tis lame, but is kinda funny if it were for that reason only.
However, if I ran a squad it wouldn't be tolerated, and I'm fairly sure my current squad would say seeya.
If however, perks were involved, which Crabby said were not, then my stance would not be of the liking. I feel I've earned every perk I've got, even if I occasionally get an ack assisted kill/perk.

Well here's take on it for what it's worth. And I am by no means taking up for either player. For 1. I don't really know Zacherof and 2. (even though he's in my squad) Crabbys' constant gay "Yay!" and uncontollable laughing makes me want to jerk his vocal cords out.
I looked at the stats and I see 2 guys who are good in-game friends that like doing the ridiculous stuff (like dueling for a name change) , that are bored with the antics of LWMA, going to the other Arenas and flying ridiculously matched planes against each other just for chits & giggles and if they got their name in lights in the process then Whoopty-Freaking-Do!!! Who really gives a Rats Arse! As far as perks.. when you see the Perk Bonus in EW or MW at 5x..... Who wouldn't take advantage of that? As for as you Google... Why you crying about the stats of EW & LW when ya only flew 9 sorties there whole tour last month?????? .............Crybaby

In the pantheon of shade/bromance vulching, I'd put this pretty low on the list. ArchieD still wins the top spot for his self described will derp for 262's routine. The great Dorkhorse run of the 130's was pretty awesome for it's length and pointlessness.

In Zacherof's defense he has been asked to refrain from posting here by our CO. Attacking what he did last month is one thing, and far be it from me to interfere with a good time.
However now that you know he has been asked to stay out of this thread attacking him for not appearing here from this point on on is useless. This incident occurred before Zacherof was a member of the 56th. So any association of the event with the 56th FG is also useless. After all the spleen venting here today I'm sure many of you are thirsty. The drinks are on us. ;)

I mean, you do know its all pretend right? We are not in a real air force, are we? Last I checked it takes a few clicks of the mouse to become a CO.

If you'll read my post again you'll see where I said he was asked. Nobody told him to do anything. You're right this isnt the real Air Force, I had 16 years of it as a crew chief.
The biggest difference is the guys in the real Air Force that brag about their flying skills are real pilots.

Not the ones I've met or any USMC pilots I've met. Real fighter pilots may take good natured jabs at each others service, but they have a genuine respect for each other. On the other hand I don't think I ever met one that would give a damn what a cartoon FM2 pilot who claims to have seen Bigfoot thought though. :lol

I can see checking to see if one account has 1000 kills of another account...
The real cheaters though!:
Players that have a 2nd accout can see ALL the dots on both sides, which is extremely unfair.
These guys with two accounts have a tremendous advantage in all aspects of the game, even finding a target!
... even if they never shoot their 2nd account not even once.
Soooo, check to see how many accounts have a thousand hours logged on without ANY KILLS AT ALL, that switch sides sometimes!
This alone; however, will not identify the actual player that 2nd account belongs to though.

Everyone pays their $15 for access to AH. Nowhere in the fine print does it say that you are entitled to tell people how they should play the game.
An Aces High subscription is a purchase after all. Do we get to tell other people what to do with their purchases in real life?

Sometimes you'll find squads that have certain rules of conduct that should be followed if you want to be a part of that squad. I see nothing wrong with that. One rule we have in the 56th is don't run your mouth on 200 all the time as it not only looks bad on you, but could possibly bring unwarranted grief on your squadmates. I personally think that's a great rule. There's too much smack talk in this game as it is...we don't need to add to it. And it sets an good example for new players.
Another rule we have is that we all fly the squad plane and fly together when we're on. For me that's what being in a squad is all about. Is my squad telling me what to do with my purchase?......technically yes, but that's what I signed up for. If I don't like it I'm free to leave anytime. :salute

There are some things that happen in AH that I don't agree with, but personally I try not to get too angry about it.
One of the greatest things about AH is the ability to do pretty much anything you like.
When it comes to affecting squads I can see where you are coming from though, as they have rules and regulations that players agree to when they join.
If something like this is found to have happened and discipline is deemed necessary due to squad affiliation, then I'd prefer to see it dealt with privately with a PM instead of seeing everyone on the BBS bashing and lambasting them

I completely agree, which is why nothing good comes from these witch hunt threads. If it wasn't for google posting this in the first place, this wouldn't have been an issue at all.
Just to clarify, the 56th isn't a group ran by an authoritative CO. The CO spent 24 Years in the military and has no desire to pass on the discipline he learned while there to this happy go lucky group. Rule number 1 in this squad is to have fun and get your $15 worth.

My side of the story is, me and crabs went to the early war arena to burn through a few achievments as there was nothing going on in the arenas
. We bailed within 1k of one another as we were able to do it faster as oppose to ashooting down on another.
And no i didnt do it for perks or for score. we did it twice and havent done it since. getting top fighter pilot was just a fluke end result.

My suggestion who cares who's name is on the front page of a game?? Simple thing to do here is have HTC take it out and do away with it, we didn't have rank back in the day, we paid, we played we had fun, had good fights, base captures etc; some people have lives and can't play 24/7 but reguardless of rank in the end has jack crap to do or matter of how good a pilot is. Those who don't get in the front page maybe just as good or better then those that do. just my two cents worth. <S> :old:

Gaming the game, so to speak, is not condoned in the 56th; however, there is no rule from
HTC stating it's wrong. So who in this community can say what's right or wrong in this regard? Those that do only create animosity and division... Ie; a witch hunt.
Zach knows how I feel about this - he has heard it more than once from several Wolfpack members. Our ethics are not HTCs...

I know HTC removes people from the front page who got there by cheating, they have done in the past, so that should kinda be an indication of their feelings on it.

My ethos and standards are higher than that - re-read what I stated above. You will not find any record of me or the 56th cheating or "lame gameplay" in AH.
2. Me nor my squadmates participate in AH in a dishonorable manor, nor have I whined a penny's worth - just stated my thoughts. Do not misrepresent me or the 56th for whatever agenda you have.
3. If someone (you) has a gripe/complaint with me or the 56th - by all means state it - I will surely address it. Perhaps you/whoever would send it via PM so this witch hunt thread can die the death it deserves.

Apparently Cj1122 is leaving and basically giving his perks to gruessome by allowing him to shoot down his perk bombers in a high eny A/C. I'm trying to put myself in this situation and I'm thinking what I would say, hypothetically one of my squaddies says I'm leaving game want to kill all of my perkies? I'm thinking what would I want to do that for, to gain perks I didn't earn, to increase my score...score of what, kills that I didn't earn.

Cj1122 was letting gruesome kill him in his b29 whilst flying a p39, cj1122 asked me to leave the 39 alone as he was 'trying' something, when I realised cl1122 was letting grusome kill him I tried to stop it by killing gruesome. I would never condone it especially after zach and crabby have been dragged through the dirt in here :)
