Yeah! a arena where only bombers are flyable.

I want a B-17 up against a Ju88!!!

nah quake sucks.....too fast.

I would love to see a sworm of bombers flying around in circles shooting at eachother!

Fly in the MA.. you'll see plenty of geeks turnfighting B17s from the tailgun position.

chaos you choose a realism arena to post this?

i smell a rather dumb assed trawl.
The CT is supposed to be for the more histrically minded players so we can fly 'how it was'
MA is for the dumb assed toejame  :D

It's already happening in the MA..

I bounced ammo's B17 in my B17 and shot his surprised butt in pieces with the bottom turret gun.

Distance was 1.2 and the hits were spreading quite much (conv set too small I think) but after some time of peppering he went down.

basically I just aligned my b17 above his and started shooting like at shooting range. It was fun indeed  :)

Didn't a Lib force one of those huge Jap flying boats down? I seem to remember a post in "history" about it?

Goonies in AW could be gunned (from the LH side door). There are one or two film files floating around of idiots duelling them. Used to take ages......

edit: Just remembered...weren't there a couple of cases of captured B-17's trying to sneak into the landing pattern and play havoc with returning aircraft? Suppose one day the damage model is sophisticated enough to represent radio damage..could be some interesting scenario permutations.

still would be fun.

Ive been taking up a b26 droping my load on the enemy feild and then killing ack and if i have ammo getting into a nice dog fight  :D .

If all else fails i try to get as many enemys to follow me away from the airfield so the goons can take it over.
