Title: Of ewe's and men
Post by: Nomde on August 21, 2013, 05:36:21 PM
I've pondered the ewe's of late...

Do they mingle upon the dew,
in contemplative thought.
Or roam the green pastures,
in euphoric bliss.

Per chance to meander about,
in tight knit flocks in perpetuity.
Or better to chance the fates,
in singular wanton solitude.

To lie within their gatherings,
and muse to quibble a bit.
Better to just find a spot,
to rest these weary bones.

I've traversed the meandering planes of abstract meaningless thought, and found it best to sit back and watch in gleeful serendipity.

There is wisdom in the herding of ewe's my friends  ;)

The ewe pie was tasty, and the lanolin keeps my woolie water tight on those long cold nights on the moor watching for your next flock to wander by. Nothing like mutton pie or fire roasted ewe to warm the tummy..... ;) But, then there used to be that herd of gnu behind the fence back of the chalk man at Whipsnade. Ewe...sorry, mutton pie......smelly lanolin. Ewe.......

It's so lifelike you'll feel transported to the meadows in your very own flat. Free patch kit to the first 100 customers.  :O

Ok gents... I must fess up.  ;)

There's a deeper meaning in the poem and phrase I wrote above. I was interested if anyone would pick up on the deeper context. If you do a little research in any online dictionary of a few of the more abstract words used, I believe you'll find the irony.

It took about an hour to contemplate/write, but when I finished, I was happy with the overall meaning and wanted to share. And yes, I was completely sober  :D

It has to do with some of the various posts you read on the BBS here. I've been gone for about 3-4 years now... :headscratch:
But have noticed the longer you're gone, the more they stay the same. This isn't a slam on anyone or any post, it's just a contemplative thought process on whether to respond to some of the post or just leave them be.

Now, let's see the light bulbs start to illuminate...

Slate, I'm not sure what disturbs me more...
The fact you have a picture of the product box,
or that you may actually use this...  :bolt:

Come back to the game, not come back. Play with my friends or may squad , not play and roam the game or not. Or not worry and enjoy the show or not.

Mutton pie is still good.........

This is what I read into your little poem,I did enjoy your use of words and the puns but the only one who can answer the question is you!

For 50cents a day it's some of the best entertainment value you can get, sitting on the sidelines is just that, not in the game.

I remember you as a have fun type of guy, good stick and all around friendly type. We could use more of that!

  Cool!

I just thought you were asking for what insight was taken from your poem.

Mutton stew, lamby pies, the smell of sweet ewey lanolin in the morning. Some one posted up a great Ewe gunsight awhile back. Puts the old Penthouse mags in the bathroom to shame.

Welcome back Nomde.
