I dont know how plausable this is but I think it would be fun to have an AH app for smartphones and tablets that allows folks to man field/ship ack, bomber guns and maybe even make supply runs. Or maybe even just a forum or score app so we can check them on the fly. Just a thought.    :cheers:

a bit easier: it would be nice to have a reference app with planes stats and comparisons, maps, scores and 'who is on'

Sort of like how the STEAM app works?  You can chat with friends etc -look who's logged in where - but you cannot fly. +1 :aok

Maps would be wonderful! You could view charts and such during bombing runs on your smartphone without fiddling with your ESC map.

Close to something I had in mind to build, but unfortunately the terrain images from the clipboard are built into the maps. It would be a violation of the user agreement (I believe) to retrieve them.

You could very tediously take screen shots of each quad and then rebuild the map that way, but I certainly don't have the desire to do it myself.

Chalenge I really like map idea, I'd be willing to help. Maybe if AH got on board it would be easier.

I don't think HTC can get at them any more than we can, and are less inclined to do so.

What I had in mind is an app that would allow a player to load a map and then potentially select a field to check alignment and see details like altitudes. It would be a lot of work to assemble the maps in pieces as I suggested.

I want to be able to check my score 24/7  and get regular notifications when someone gets ranked above me!
