Yes great cover. No fighter was on me for more then 15 seconds. Got shot full of holes but no damage to me or either of my drones.

Our pleasure!!!
Whenever escorting we gauge success on the bomber's success that we escorted. We look for targets attacked, launched / deaths of escorted squad, and a bonus is if that bomber squad gets in the lights.
Last night, we acheived all of them.
:salute to III/JG11 for a superb mission and communications. We seemed to know where everyone was and what the SA was through out the misison.
Absolutely fantastic job JG11!!! We'll fly with your squad anytime!!!!!

Really nice escort job gents. I'm in a fat slow bomber with crappy guns. I'm thinking, "we're all gunna die" (my buddy Wileys favorite saying), as we roll. I didn't see one enemy fighter have a chance at a second pass. I got to the target, got bombs on something besides just the ground, and rtb'd without taking a single ping from the enemy, NOT ONE PING! There were plenty of attackers that would have made mincemeat of me without you guys. You stayed in a defensive position the entire time. Very impressive. You boys got screenshots of that action perchance?

I echo Slipknot's words:
Job was made a whole lot easier because of the excellent job you guys did of letting us know your positions and intents...
Gave us a chance to flex, as needed, to keep little friends over/around you. (We even got to run a 'Goalie Cap' option which is pretty rare)
Please apologize to your Crew Chiefs for the holes ... we are still striving for the Uber sortie in which we manage to keep them from getting ANY pings on anyone
- (Don't know that its possible, but it is a goal!)

Arrgh! Saw a bunch of 111,s twice and could do little to nothing about them. First time they were on their way to 40 and me and Shamus were too lo and slow to do a thing. Second time they were on egress and I was in a pretty sweet position but only had enuff ammo to smoke one engine before I had to break off.
Then a group of us spotted what turned out to be Vilkas and his lone escort. We gave chase and my old friend prolly wouldn't have made it except everyone but me turned to some high bogeys. I was determined to get at least one Heinkel and so I did but my sharpshooting friend got my oil and alas I had to ditch.
Was a fun August for me.

Jenk,
It was Bino and myself that you and your buddy tried to get on egress,you managed to smoke the engine of 1 of my drones but I was able to nurse it back home!
I know from the logs that both Bino and I managed to ping you as we both got assists on Vilkas kill.
Was much fun!
