I would recommend you pair up this request with a request for a 1946 arena so it would actually have a home in AHII. :aok

Can I get an F-14 then?

Can I get an F-14 then?

BradyRay,
I'm assuming you're new to AH and the Forums. The requirements for addition to AH are (no particular order) (1) Must have served in WWII 39-45 (2) Must have served in combat (3) (I heard this a long time ago, so maybe someone else can confirm) but must have served in squadron strength.
Hope that helps for future wishes.

The real deal breaker has been It served in combat during World War two, as for squadron strength that's been debatable. Served in combat means actually flown a few sorties, not just enroute to combat or still on the drawing boards.
A few aircraft like the P-80 were in a theater of operation (Italy) but did not fly combat missions of any sort, the Meteor for example was kept stashed away for FEAR the germans would get their hands on the aircraft in case one went down, It did however fly combat missions against V-1 bombs and did ground attacks later in the war.
Served in combat doesn't mean it had to shoot down planes, just fly combat missions.
