So if I have a friend that wants me to show him how to play, I can't open him a new acct with a trial from my IP address?

A buddy is coming into town in a couple of weeks I thought I'd show him the game, but I don't want my squad thinking it's me or others yelling at him :)

Use his email address, I think its don't by email address. Could be wrong tho.

Extra? You're not gonna pay extra. You've just used up your free. And the 'free to plays', if that's
what you mean, they actually have extras .... that cost. Likely more than $15.00/month if you
want 'full premium service' there. You obviously wanted to fly AHII again. If it's about the cost, I
understand. These are still hard times for some. But don't pretend this is about 'paying extra.' Who
are your friends that fly but don't visit the forum? I'll pass on your hi.

 :salute

P.S. Here's hoping you decide to pay and play the best value available for it's genre again. I suspect
you miss it. And since you have friends here, you already know you'd be welcomed back in good fashion.

You can say hi in the forums. They're still free.

With dynamic IPs and proxies around, I would imagine there is more to it than just IP address. Doesn't seem worthwhile at all, since don't you lose perks, ranks and all benefits, if you were constantly opening new accounts and surely a pattern would develop, which would be easily recognisable. There are people who enjoy beating systems just to prove they can beat that system, but can't be many people that obsessed with it.

Uh, it's definitely not IP address. I play from different IPs all the time, does that mean each of those is forever and permanently void of having a trial player fly on them? No.

It sure seemed to work that way for bbs suspensions. Couldn't even look up the rules to see my infraction from my mums house since I had logged onto bbs there once upon a time...

IDK about subscription/trial though.

If you want to show this "Friend" the game it's possible to go off line and kill some drones. Not quite the MA experience but at least he'll find a gun solution.  :D

Oh this makes me feel so sorry for you. You poor, poor thing. How dare HTC only give you 2 weeks complete access to the game. You should have it anytime you want without paying HTC for any of their long hours of hard work and financial investment. You poor, poor thing. Now yell at Mommy to make you some more sandwiches and no more of that crappy tuna, either.

Don't they give a whole month for free anymore...

...if you pay a twelve months' subscription all at once?

IP address I believe.
nope, mac address on your pc.  I just buy a new pc every two weeks so I don't have to pay the $14.95 to play....

What the hell ?

A free trial is a "FREE TRIAL" !  If you have played before then it's not a trial, it's just you being to cheap to pay your fair share.  Please stop encouraging anyone to keep getting free trials.  A "trial" is an opportunity for new players to check the game out and then decide if it is for them.  Without this trial many would never give it a try.

It's 14.95 a month for crying out loud.  Is 50 cents a day really too much to pay to "re-connect" with some old friends?  If you really are to broke to pay $14.95 or have issues that make you feel guilty spending that money when other things need doing, then put that up here.  I'll bet your "old friends" include someone who would throw a paid month your way.

OK, back to wagging  :) :bolt:

LOL  you guys make me laugh.  Glad to see the sense of humor and forum bashing have not changed.  The money isnt the issue, never was.  I paid to play this game for the better part of a decade so Id say ive paid my share and not just looking for a free ride.  Besides, if I had gotten my free 2 weeks just to say "Hey" to a few friends who knows, I may have gotten hooked again and decided to play again.  But as you pointed out there are to many "FREE" ways to contact them so that will work for me  :rock

Sure.

Go to your car dealer and tell them you've bought 10 cars from them and you've paid your fair share and they should give you the next one for free.
Tell the IRS you've paid taxes for the last 10 years and the next year should be free.
Tell your wife you've been faithful to her for the last 10 years and your going to hook up with the next door neighbor because you've paid your dues.

You paid for 10 years and you got to play for those 10 years.
