This year is the 50th. If you're out and about, come on by the biplane hanger and say hi. Look for a blue, white, and yellow biplane with a big number 8 on it.

If you know the tail numbers of a plane, you can track it's progress.

Voodoo just qualified with a 492mph lap which is rare on monday laps.

You see the fastest qualifying speeds usually later in the week.

Voodoo was the plane that Bob "hurricane" Hanna had the trim tab come off of and go into a 9G climb straight up where he woke up at 10k feet on the floor of the plane and somehow got back in place to land it.

The guys with "precious metal" got the engine changed and the pilot flew it to the race landing with 15 minutes left and completing his paperwork within 2 minutes of the cut-off time.

Some clowns hacked the air racing forum linked in the first post so might not be good idea to go there until the all clear horn has been sounded.

Pretty nice recap Voodoo. If this is your writing and not all copied scripting recaps may be calling you (no sarcasm). :aok

Link to a page that has a few choices of feed types from the tower.

http://www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=krts

I know the windows media player one works but not sure about the others.

Here's another page that has live video feed and a live audio feed but not sure when they are broadcasting.
