Title: Verizon argues it should be able to block websites
Post by: bustr on September 09, 2013, 07:21:59 PM: Will this gain any traction? What will it mean for all subscribers in the US to Verizon's competitors if the court sides with Verizon?

IDG News Service - Verizon Communications should be able to block its broadband customers from going to websites that refuse to pay the provider to deliver their traffic, a lawyer for Verizon told an appeals court Monday.

Yup this. Most other providers are going the opposite way, working to help host CDN's to give customers a better broadband experience.

They will probably be successful at it.
