Is there a way to make the ammo unlimited in the offline arena? :headscratch:
-
Not unlimited but you can set ammo to 10x
Options/Arena Setup/Environment/Arena Settings.
Go to ammo and look for the variables with "mult" in them. Set all those to 10.0
Unfortunately there is no such setting for bombs or other ordnance.

Thanks Lusche! :salute

don't quote me here, but I'm fairly certain talking like that is a one way street to Bootvile via Banhammer. HT don't even like the smell of that word...

You ever see that video of a hog driver flying around dropping bombs the wjhole time? and shooting thousands of rockets?
-
I did see it, but I still don't think HT wants that brought up....

I'm fairly certain that's part of why we lost F2P 8 player arenas a while back.

I've always wondered why the BK 5 and the 75mm on the B-25H don't count as guns :headscratch:.

used to be able to type in 9999999999 and it would be unlimited

They're counted like ordnance, bombs and rockets, rather than bullets. Ammo for tank main guns are the same as I recall.

They are counted as ammo, not ordnance. You can up a 410 with the bk5 or a B-25H empty with the 75mmI gun off a field where ords have been disabled.

Exactly why it puzzled me. Theres no consistency.

Yes there is but you don't see it! It's based on caliber,I would think with your extensive knowledge you'd have known that.

No, because its just anything above 40mm doesn't count as gun, according to the arena flags. But neither do they count as ordnance. For reasons that are apparently arbitrary, HTC has just decided that the BK 5 and 75mm on the B-25H are in some other category of their own, and I would assume use hard coded ammunition limits.
Thats not consistent with the rest of the system, it just means that those are the only two things that are out of order.

Seems consistent to me,all weapons over a certain caliber are not included in the planeammomulti.....
