Title: AvA being patrolled by bot airforces.
Post by: jimson on September 17, 2013, 04:58:22 PM
I have flights for both sides flying around in there right now. It was a quick mission build so they may do some strange things, but they are in there and they want to kill you.

You can just up in free flight and try to find them. They should run for several hours until either, they all get shot down, they run out of gas, or the arena crashes. For the next couple of days I'm going to try to keep AI in the arena at most times, if anyone wants to try them out.

At 8pm est today we are going to stop that and test a different mission. Warning: We may have some arena crashes, but that helps us try to pinpoint issues.

Is it possible to have 262's buzzing around?

What happens if the two missions run into each other?  Does the ai fight ai?

They would and will on the one I will be running at 8pm est today. The one's that are flying in there now probably won't contact each other.

Edit: 8pm est, that's 5pm my time LOL.

I talks to crabby about these missions. Is it possible for a person to make them for offline?

The long mission is acting funny. Seems to restart after about an hour. I'll leave it in for another hour or so anyway til I run the other one .

Jimson,

Congratulations on the start of something new and unique for Aces High.

When the bugs get worked out of this. I wonder if HTC has plans to put up a "try AH out arena" for non paying interested parties but, more controlled than the old HtH 8 man free arenas? A few new adds on Cable along with a free to try AI+Human arena..........

Thanks, that might be a good idea. I know they are advertising for an employee who will in part, be building missions. I suspect they will be included in the download or in a box game for offline play.

AI pilots are patrolling the arena right now and you don't have to be in a mission to fight them. Just up and chase them down.
