How come the aircraft carriers cause frame rates of like 1, 2 if i'm lucky??

can this be fixed??

Tons of things happening cause your ISP to choke and die.

I get a frame rate of 5 or 6 if I get too close.  As for fixing it...I plan to upgrade (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Many polygons wouldbe my guess. Easy to fix, upgrade. I know that hurts, but hardware is cheap now.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

i would upgrade ...but then again i have to get a job first so i can actually buy stuff......

hmm....i guess no carrier ops for me yet....i'll just get my carrier aircraft skills up to speed on the ground first

Scooby, here's an alternative, use SHIFT F3 and CONTROL C when you first login or when you are near CV's, it will help your FR.

Also read Blooms Performance tips (2 posts, 1 and 2) in the Hardware forum, I pulled another 3-4 FPS out of my system by following his advice.

Thought sh f1 is max detail.  Might wanna try sh f3 or default sh f2.
