Intruder in the barricade, USS Ranger 1991. Stormy Indian Ocean, pitching deck...

Outstanding work by the LSO and pilot. According the comments, the pilot of the A-6 was killed in 1994 in a training accident.

It also appear the LSO was killed in an accident later that year in October.

That was incredible how calm and professional the LSO was during all that. He acted like it was just another day at the office....amazing  :salute
