What are the conditions for your AI bailing from the plane? I was in a 262 about to nurse it home damaged when the dreaded tcp/ip warning came up. When I come back it said AI pilot bailed and I lost all the perk points!
-
you disco'd, the ai got lonely for your input and decided to save his butt by bailing out rather than ride that jet all the way to the ground...
-
the AI will bailout if you have been hit once by a player. It's the common thing I have found with the AI/Disco

Very fustrating

5 minutes it says!!!!! :bhead

It not only gave me the bailout message !but put me back in the game free falling through the sky!

3 out of 4 AI pilots can't stand flying hairdryers. :ahand

I have to admit that I don't like that myself. It is making the worse case scenario for the pilot of dying, versus giving the pilot the benefit of the doubt of RTB safely.

go up against the AI Gunners and you wont think so, you'll think 999000 is flying the plane! :D

999000 is integrated in AI. He's like the Borg in Star Trek. :O

They should rename the AI to Otto!

Are you certain? I seem to recall several times of being reconnected after a disco after taking hits (of course I may be mistaken). Could it be if you have taken damage instead? or certain parameters like your planes altitude, attitude or maybe others?
