why was Wembley the home of the one and only real football desecrated on Sunday for some two teams called minnesota vikings and pittsburgh steelers??

it's a disgrace!    :old:

I did try and embrace the culture and understand the odd rules but there were advert breaks after every play.

We're not too crazy about them going over there for a game either. I read somewhere yesterday the the NFL wants to create a London team. The front office at the NFL headquarters must be smoking crack.

Seemed like the place was pretty full,  not like women's soccer.

I think lots of Americans bought flights over to watch it just to see their home teams play in such an iconic arena.   They must have more money than sense!    I guess it's all about marketing and making money, living the American Dream etc.

I hope the groundsman was out there at 5am this morning getting rid of all the paint markings.

i have actually developed quite a fondness for the American game of gridiron (i know, i know...blasphemy etc)

it's really kind of awesome once you learn a bit about it...wish i was able to play it or watch more of it ;/

i wouldn't be able to handle all the ad breaks and stuff if i was watching it live though...no waaaay

i'd have to eat loads to get through the boredom and end up fat like an American :old:

That must have been some marketing thing to make as much money as they could, because over here the commercials aren't that frequent.

We here in the colonies are following the path of Romans and the gridiron is our coliseum.  :old:

As a lifelong Bronco fan, I'll be happy to rub everyone's nose in it when Denver walks away with the Lombardi trophy this year (and possibly next year as well).  They're just too good for anyone to match up with.   :rock

A lot more football to play. See how they do against some good teams before you declare them champs.

So you're saying that Denver, while breaking records seemingly every week, without their two top defensive starters has anything to worry about from ANY team on their schedule?  I think not.  The only team that can even hope to match up is Seattle, and there's only one game that those two teams can meet in.  Even then, with Von Miller back in the lineup...  Russell Wilson is going to be running for his life.

Rod Smith was asked the other day if the 1998 Broncos were as good as this current squad, and he responded with a firm "No."  That's all I need to hear.

Denver will win it all unless Manning gets injured.

Prediction...  SB- Denver 42, Seattle 27.

I've consulted the "Oracle" (my little brother), and this shall come to pass.

Also...  Trindon Holliday is just sick!

All roads in the NFC will go through Century Link Field. And we don't lose at home.

Considering we've beat down Manning twice in two years now, it will be Seahawks over Denver by 2 TDs in February.

John Fox loading him up with stick em  :lol. But seriously, there is a reason he doesn't play in Houston anymore.  ;)

John Fox loading him up with stick em  :lol. But seriously, there is a reason he doesn't play in Houston anymore.  ;)

He is a bit feast or famine, but he's been holding on to the ball quite well lately.  Also, Houston made a mistake by releasing him, as he leads all kick returners in yards per return, and has 6 punt/kick return TDs since Denver picked him up. He's the best return specialist since Dante Hall.
