Title: AI pilot non-existant?

Been disco'd quite often these past few days.. in the middle of a sortie. From the 88, fighter, bomber even an m3.  Yet I disconnect. And am not promptly reconnected in the 'seat'.  I ask those who were nearby (friend and foe) if they seen me 'land' any kills, bail or even get a proxy.

Nothing. Nope. Zilch. Nada.

So what exactly is happening to my AI pilot? And why am I not being reconnected, when I am logging back in within the "5 minute window"
