Sorry Skuzzy if this is in the wrong place.
So I get disco'd on a nightly basis via CenturyLink. I've called them and I get the typical reset the modem yada yada. I've noticed a pattern where I'll get disco'd at the same minute different hours each day. I've tried different CenturyLink modems, so I think its something with them. But I'd like to have some insight before I call to voice my concerns with them for yet another time.
Example:
Mondays Discos
1:06pm
2:06pm
3:06pm
Tuesdays Discos
1:07pm
2:07pm
3:07pm
And it progresses like that through the week. I'll attach a system log from my modem.

System Log seems to show patterns to me.

That sounds like the IP address renewing isn't working as it should. I used to have similar problems several years ago, IIRC it was due to incompatibility of my modem and the ISP's new servers and was cured with a firmware update at either end - or maybe even both ends.
Updating the firmware of your modem isn't too difficult to try and you should be able to backup the old one in case more problems arise with the new.

It could be their DHCP server is taking too long top handle the IP refresh. Or they might actually be releasing the IP address, instead of refreshing it. For WEB surfing, it would not be noticeable.
