Title: Keirsey Temperament Test
Post by: shotgunneeley on October 09, 2013, 07:46:24 PM
I've been taking an organizational behavior class. We've been going over the personality/temperament types and ways to test your personality. I rated as a Guardian - inspector. You can view the site here to test for your temperament.

www.keirsey.com

While checking the bbs for this topic, I came across this gem that relates the temperaments into how they relate to in-game mannerisms. enjoy

Guardian inspector.  Guess what I do for a living? I inspect welds, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipe lines.  Fitting I suppose.

An INTJ - "Rational Mastermind" for the fourth time now. I had, back when I took OBHRM years ago, the dubious distinction of pegging it on the thinking side of the thinking/feeling continuum. I note that this thing correlates nicely to meyers-briggs.

Artisan.

Doesn't list what kind but going off the other personality test I took (I scored an ISFP) I'm guessing Artisan-Composers.

I haven't gotten an email directly from them or any other temperament advertisement over the year since i first submitted my quiz. Only email i ever got was just to tell me my score. At least its a site recommended by my school/teacher, so it makes me feel more at ease giving my email.

My employer had all of management and engineering take the Keirsey test almost two years ago. I already knew my result.

They use this and several other methods to help structure employee career goals, among other things.

Inasmuch as my name is on every patent assigned to the company, and I'm 61 years old, and have worked for the company for 35 years, they are well aware that my short term career goal is retirement.
